Singapore has one of the strictest customs regimes in the world. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and Singapore Customs enforce these regulations. Travelers should pay special attention to restrictions on chewing gum, tobacco, alcohol, and drugs.

Entry Process

  1. 1Complete SG Arrival Card online (up to 3 days before arrival)
  2. 2Pass through immigration (automated lanes available for eligible travelers)
  3. 3Collect checked baggage
  4. 4Proceed through customs (Red or Green channel)
  5. 5Exit to arrivals hall

Prohibited Items

  • Chewing Gum
    Import is banned except for dental/nicotine gum with prescription
