- •Beef, pork, mutton: up to 5 kg total
- •Poultry (chicken, duck): up to 5 kg
- •Processed meat (sausages, ham, jerky, canned) counts toward the same limits and must also be from an approved source
- •Approved sources include Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Japan, most of the EU (for specific meats), Brazil and Malaysia for certain products — the SFA website lists them. Not approved: mainland China (all pork — ASF), most of Southeast Asia for pork, and any product you cannot trace to a labelled approved origin.
- •Enforcement: ICA/SFA officers check bags at Changi and the Woodlands/Tuas land crossings from Malaysia; unlabelled or home-made meat is confiscated. Offence under the Wholesome Meat and Fish Act: up to S$10,000 fine and/or 2 years' jail for serious cases.
